Mary Lou Vannice age 84 Normal IL passed away at 12:45 AM on Friday, January 20, 2017, McLean Co. Nursing Home, Normal IL. There will be no service. Cremation services provided by Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Private inurnment will be at Eureka Cemetery, Eureka, Texas.

Lou was born September 20, 1932 in Corsicana, Texas the daughter of J.L. and Blanche Greer Hamilton. She married Wilson Vannice on November 3, 1970 in Bloomington, IL. He survives.

Also surviving, 3 children, Cindy (Rick) Kopp, Normal, IL, Brian Vannice, San Francisco, CA, Jeff Vannice, Ft. Meyers, FL, 2 grandsons, Jeffrey Kellermann, Bloomington, IL, Tony Callahan, Bloomington, IL, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Jo Curry, Sulphur Springs, Texas, 4 nieces, Donna Drain, Marsha Owens, Linda Allison, Candy Lazarin all of Texas.

Lou is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Lou loved flowers and was a very artistic person. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was a Mildred Eagle from Mildred High School, Mildred Texas.
